Dr Mairi Stirling Hill is a medievalist who works on English and French literature from the late Middle Ages. She has a particular interest in women and gender in medieval literature and culture, as well as medieval romance and the myth of King Arthur. She has written on women´s work and roles in medieval law and literature, and in Arthurian legends.

Jake Jackson has written, edited and contributed to over 20 books on mythology and folklore. Related works include studies of Babylonian creation myths, the philosophy of time and William Blake's use of mythology in his visionary literature.
